What do you give a Hollywood celebrity that has (almost) everything? A luxury, cutting-edge vibrator of course.
Last night Oscar nominees in the acting and directing categories - like Eddie Redmayne, Rosamund Pike and newlywed Benedict Cumberbatch –were awarded a gift bag worth a staggering £160,000 (£104,000), whether they walked away with a golden statue or not.
The 'Everyone Wins at the Oscars' goodie bags, put together by marketing firm Distinctive Assets, includes a $20,000 gift certificate to see a celeb horoscope reader and $12,500 camping trip and a bicycle worth $1,200.
But, it's also reported, that the bag also included racy items such as luxury condoms, an O-Shot hormone injection to increase a woman's libido and a $250 Afterglow 'laser therapy' vibrator. Apparently, the rabbit-style vibrator uses low-level laser lights to target blood flow in the genitals, which helps to increase arousal.
Quite how open the celebrities will be about having tried the vibe is debatable, but it's clear that this year's Oscars gift bag has really illuminated the importance of keeping sex fun and, erm, light, in the bedroom…
